Stella McCartney’s new show schedule
The British designer Stella Mccartney has long been under pressure in increasing her output to meet demand. That is why she decided that she will only present one show per season. Her spring 2009 collection will be presented in June at Jefferson Market Garden in New York while the summer 2009 collection will be shown in October, during Paris Fashion Week, followed together by the autumn and winter collections.
Emanuel Ungaro and Fashion High Tea
The forthcoming collection of legendary designer Emanuel Ungaro will be presented on June 28 at Hotel Le Bristol in Paris. Synonymous with viewing the show guest will have a chance to relax and indulge themselves with The Fashion High Tea. This will include a choice o 15 teas and a special dessert created by Laurent Jeanin.

The supermodel Naomi Campbell just turned to be 38th years old. The glamorous birthday party was organized by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in Cannes and gathered such stars as Dita von Teese, Kate Hudson, Valentino, Sean “P Diddy” and Milla Jovovich. The birthday model was honored with a lavish cake topped with fresh flowers and palm leaves.

The lingerie firm Victoria‘s Secret Pink has named Behati Prinsloo the new face of the brand. The 19-year-old model just signed the contract with the company, which is famous for its catwalk shows. Scotland's style
Scottish Fashion Awards has just unveiled the nominees for awards, that the association is going to grant this year. Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders are among nominees for Scottish Designer of the Year. "This list represents the most definitive guide to Scottish fashion right now. Their individuality, innovation and style have been recognized on the catwalks around the world and indeed in the commercial market place," says Tessa Hartmann, founder of the event.
Agyness is trying her hand at acting
Already a singer, now model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn is adding acting to her repertoire. She is currently shooting a short film by band mate Alanna Masterson in Long Island, playing an imaginary friend. "It's nice working on this particular thing because it's friends, and it's a very chilled environment to learn," says Deyn. The movie with the working title The Right Side of My Exultant Brain also stars Dustin Hoffman’s son Jake.

Probably the most glamorous gathering on the festival's schedule - the amfAR gala just took place in Cannes. The event gathered a 750-strong crowd including Sharone Stone, Madonna, Ralph Loren, Natalie Portman, Eva Herzigova and many others. Versace coordinated the elegant decor, while Madonna auctioned a private concert. FiFi Awards honor Vera Wang
Designer Vera Wang was honored with a Hall of Fame FiFi Fragrance Award and turned out in person to the 36th annual ceremony to collect it. Daisy by Marc Jacobs won Fragrance of the Year, while Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Homme took home the same award in the respective men‘s category. A women‘s and men‘s “Nouveau Niche” was given to Prada Infusion d’Iris.
Eve Mendes’ Calvin Klein advert censored
Calvin Klein’s adverts featuring Eve Mendes to promote its new fragrance has been banned by censors in US. Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty Prestige says that the ads were done tastefully and votes to contest the ruling. “We wanted to do a provocative ad. But we‘re not trying to be raunchy. There‘s a lot of skin, but it‘s done tastefully” - she explains.

Naomi Campbell just announced that her Ugly Betty outfit, that the supermodel is wearing in the movie is going to be auctioned. The money raised from the auction will be donated for US charity Clothes Off Our Backs.

Uma Thurman suing Lancome
The cosmetic giant Lancome is being sued by Uma Thurman for continuing to use her image after the actress’s contract with the company expired in 2004. According to Thurman’s lawyer Bert Fields, Lancome failed to stop displaying ads with Thurman’s participation and gave the false impression, that she is still affiliated with the brand. The actress claim $15 million to be paid for this misuse and warns other celebrities not to do deal with Lancome.
